This post is long overdue, but good things come to those who wait.
So cool your jets, why dontcha?
So my sister looked gorgeous and happy and things were excellently perfect, yada yada yada.

Now on to the most important events of the big day:
See how awesome her hair and makeup look? That girl had a 9am,
9am!, appointment for her 5:30pm wedding. To ensure that your stylist does a top notch job it's always wise to bribe him (or her) with a token of appreciation, something that will make them feel included in your special day and that his or her hard work is valued.
So my sister did what any A+ bride would do: She bought him a vintage poster of
Selena fresh off ebay. That's right. She handed our Mexican-American stylist a poster of his true idol. Success.

Next up, lunch with the bridesmaids while we all fried our hair over and over again with curling irons and hot rollers. On my trip to Bread & Company, I mentioned to Nikki that I would be bringing back a gallon of their famous fruit tea. "Mmmm," she said "That sounds like it would be incredible with some vodka." Dead pan, direct eye contact. I knew I had to deliver, this is
the day the Maid of Honor cannot mess up. So I pull into the liquor store purchase a bottle of SKYY vodka that will serve the girls and go over to her house. I open up the freezer door to let the vodka chill for a little bit, only to find
4 other bottles of vodka on the top shelf. What? That's a lot of distilled potatoes. Why in the world does a house with 3 girls who are no longer in college necessitate 5 bottles of vodka at any given time? I need to know.
Now on to the ceremony. I actually was able to watch my kid sister walk down the aisle with our dad and not cry. If you know me at all, you know this is huge! But the real Kodak moment of the ceremony, was when the minister was giving a lovely prayer and all heads were bowed. That is the exact moment that the tiny ring bearer decided to put his flowered wreath on his head and roll around on the alter stairs on top of Nikki's train. Obviously, that minister's prayer really got him fired up!

Finally the reception. Let's remember that these pictures are going to go down in history... at least Schneider/Jenkins history. For the rest of their lives the newlyweds will flip through the photos and sweetly reminisce about their first dance, the sorority serenade, cutting the cake, weirdos dancing..

And Jeremy truly getting excited and dancing whole-heartily to Milly Cyrus' "
Party in the USA."
I mean, Jeremy, really loves this song.
Here's to you, Jenkins! You sure do know how to take a wedding to the next level!
"So put your hands up their playing our song, the butterflies fly away..."
The last picture needs to be framed. Look at Nikki's face!!! Hahahahahaha!!!!
