Feeling 'Frisco

There's a lot I want to tell you all.
Exactly two other posts are brewing in my mind.
2 = a lot, well maybe I have 3. Who knows.

Regardless, it will all have to wait.
Because tomorrow at 6:30am after weeks and weeks of being tested mentally and emotionally, after months of tying on my Brooks and hoping that this long run would be the one that made my watch track correctly once again, after completely wiping out on asphalt mid-13 mile run and still having the marks to show it - I'm leaving.

And I'm going here.
paradise
I have very big plans to eat chowder at Fisherman's Warf in big crusty sourdough bowls, soothe my stressed out soul at a whiskey speak easy my cousin knows about and dig my forks (two hands!) into the chile apple pie at Chile Pies (& Ice Cream).

Yes, everything does revolve around food.

Two of my most adventurous friends (her and her), my cousin and I have plans to see the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, buy cliche tie-die on Haight & Ashbury and ride a trolley while flinging Rice A Roni at unsuspecting citizens. All the San Francisco basics.

Oh yeah and somewhere squished in between Chinatown visits and street vendor snacks is a little thing called the Nike Women's Half Marathon. We'll be doing that, too...I guess.

Look at the hill that starts at mile 6.

Goodbye.
